Welcome to all the students aspiring to join the Bachelor of Physiotherapy to the family of SVSS Latur College of Physiotherapy!

SVSS Latur College of Physiotherapy affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences is one of the latest institutes in producing well-trained professionals in the field of physiotherapy, through state-of-the-art international learning techniques enabling graduates to attain the level of expertise needed to handle societal challenges, pragmatically.

We at SVSS Latur college of Physiotherapy progress through building an ordinate relationship with students by offering extensive support throughout their course. We also provide developmental support and offer academic research and scientific consultations through effective communication with other relative institutes, various hospitals, and health agencies.

A well-qualified dedicated team of eminent faculty members serves as a hub for learning and gaining hands-on experience in the field of physiotherapy. We have taken a great initiative in our innovative teaching methods and extensive clinical programs, which are incorporated into all four and half years of the course. We also empower knowledge by practicing their academic skills in a unique learning environment in several hospitals, through numerous student-internship facilities in the field of physiotherapy.

We support gaining continual enhancement in educating Physiotherapy through frequent academic publications for improving research and by organizing national/international seminars, workshops, and conferences for staff and students at regular intervals. Our major objective is to ensure competence and excellence in serving the community with the art of physiotherapy through ingenuity, enhanced knowledge, and workmanship. We shall continue our efforts to be abreast of the Physiotherapy educational and technological development and will work hard to protect and strengthen humanity through our distinguished knowledge and specialized skills.

About Us

Physiotherapy is a science based healthcare profession which considers human movement to be central to health and well being. It aims to maximize movement potential by using a problem solving approach which demands hard work, but is very satisfying. Physiotherapists evaluate the functional capabilities & potentials of clients, some with correctable problems & some with permanent changes. They strive to help the clients to maximize their potentials, thereby preventing the recurrence / deterioration of the problem by using therapeutic exercises, mobilization techniques, various physical modalities like Heat, Cold, ultrasound, UVR, IRR & electricity based on scientific evaluation. Physiotherapy as a Profession plays an important role in various other branches of medical profession like Orthopaedics, Sports, Neurology, cardiothoracic, obstetric & Gynaecology, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Community Based Rehabilitation and ergonomic evaluation & advice, etc
