Kinesiotherapy Physical Diagnosis

This is the basic core laboratory. This lab has all equipments needed for undergraduate and training as per the syllabus.

This lab in the college trains the students of First, Second Year BPTH with respect to Kinesiology & Kinesiotherapy.

The practical concepts of Biomechanics & Exercise therapy subjects are dealt in this department.

Students are taught to understand the various quantitative methods of movement by practical. Mechanical principles of various treatment methods are studied.

In this department, the students learn the principles and effects of exercise as a therapeutic modality and the techniques in the restoration of physical functions.

Departmental Objectives:

To provide Physiotherapy knowledge based on recent practices in Kinesiotherapy physical diagnosis to under graduate and post graduate students.

• To train the student to apply sound administrative principles to management of Kinesiotherapy and physical therapy practice
• To apply educational concepts of education in clinical practice of kinesiotherapy
• To organize and provide opportunity for continued physiotherapy education and skill development in Physical diagnosis.
• To determine the physical therapy needs of any patient through Physical diagnosis, examination and evaluation.
• To develop and implement the physiotherapy protocol for patients with the help of various kinesiotherapy principles
